20th Anniversary
Twenty years is not nothing. It’s school runs and hospital waits and Sunday mornings that blur into one another and arguments that got resolved and ones that took too long to fucking resolve and inside all of that a choice that keeps getting made day after day. That’s what this anniversary is, so celebrate it with something that knows it.
Traditionally, the gift for a twentieth anniversary is china. We love that. It feels right. There’s something about the idea that something can look so fragile and actually last. That it can take effort to keep beautiful things intact. We’ve curated some pieces here that respect that tradition without leaving you feeling like you’re buying for a museum. Things you’ll actually use, actually touch, actually live with in the life you and your partner have built.
But we’ve gone beyond it too, because twenty years is worth more than one interpretation. How we chose everything here is by asking ourselves whether it felt like enough. It sounds stupid but that’s harder than it sounds. There’s a lot of stuff out there that’s just a gift with a number slapped on. We didn’t want any of that. We wanted stuff that could only really be given at this one precise point in time by people who have been paying attention to someone who has spent twenty years putting in the effort.
