Chicago White Sox
It’s never been easy being a White Sox fan. They’re not the sexy franchise. They’re not the team on the magazine covers. They’re probably not the ones your coworkers are rocking as jerseys on Casual Friday. And Sox fans know that and proudly embrace it. There’s pride in being a fan of the team on the south side. Loyalty that becomes that much stronger because it’s not popular to be a White Sox fan. Loyalty that you’re rewarded for every October that ticks by without a parade. So when that special White Sox fan is in your life and you’re wanting to show them you know and appreciate the way they feel about that team, you want a gift that means something more than you threw together some stuff because it had a logo on it.
We curated this collection with that fan in mind. The Sox fan who remembers 2005 like other people remember their wedding. Every product we selected had to pass one simple test. If you were a Sox fan would you truly be excited to see this gift underneath the tree? Or would you politely set it aside and forget about it come Tuesday. Lots of toys and gadgets didn’t make that cut. Things that looked good on a website but didn’t feel substantial once you gave them a second thought. Logo stitched merchandise that was clearly thrown together without a second thought. We didn’t include any of that stuff.
