Los Angeles Dodgers
There are some fandoms in sports whose devotion requires no explanation. Dodger fans, we know you’re out there. You know who you are. You’ve been showing up through championships and heartbreaking losses alike. Through Koufax and Kershaw and now Ohtani. Through humid summer nights at Chavez Ravine when the breeze rolls in off the Pacific and the lights make everything feel epic. Shopping for someone who bleeds Dodger Blue is easy—if you don’t opt for rehashed junk they already have half a closet full of. It’s the easiest trap to fall into, and that’s why most dodger gifts fall flat.
Don’t get us wrong: The Dodger licensee game is big. But it’s mostly bad. Throw-away t-shirts. Caps that shrink after washing. Coffee mugs that look like your grandma got them at the airport. If we wanted that, we’d hit up Target. And frankly, so does the Dodgers fan in your life.
A loyal Dodgers fan isn’t impressed by easy gifts. They know baseball. They know Dodgers history. They know how hard it is to win in the majors. Everything they collect should show respect for what this team means to them.
That was our guiding light when we put this together. We scrolled through dozens of options and only kept things we liked. Not because they’ll “pull rank” in their living room, not because they slap a logo on it and that’s enough. We stuck to gifts that we ourselves would feel proud to give. And if you’re not shopping with that mentality, you’re not doing it right.
Especially this year. Whether it’s for a birthday, the postseason, your friend who left LA but stays loyal no matter how far they’ve moved away, or that new coworker who fell in love with this team this season and has got to have the full uniforms… the why will change but your standards shouldn’t. We kept this as small as we did because we believe that one incredible Dodgers gift is worth more than giving someone ten careless gifts. You won’t find better anywhere else, but you’ll know you found something once you see The Thing here that’s right for them.
