Being a Jets fan is something special. It demands things of you. Always has. And yet those that bleed green and white bleed fiercely because they aren’t here for the smooth journey. They are here for this team. Period.
That fandom. That was who we had in mind when we started thinking about this. Not the fair-weather fan that hops on bandwagon when the Jets are rolling. We mean the real deal. The fan that has been through the lean years and shown up again for more next January. Finding the perfect gift for that person is important. Some generic bit of merchandise grabbed off a rack isn’t going to cut it and they’ll know the second someone hands it over.
So we went on the hunt for things we would want. If we were the lucky person wearing green. Not just trash with a logo on it but stuff that feels thought through. That matches the passion of the person who knows every squad member’s position like the Jets playoff history. See, there’s a difference between licensed stock filler and gifts a real fan wants to open. We have tried to find nothing but the latter.
Birthdays, Christmas, Father’s Day or just that moment where you want to get something special for someone you care about. This works for the Jet nut in your family, your work mate who can’t stop buzzing about the upcoming season and your friend who named their dog after a Jet quarterback. You know who we mean. You might even be that person.
We wanted to keep this small intentionally. Fewer things we love is better than tons of options we don’t endorse. Each product here has passed the same test. Would I give this to myself? To a person that I actually like? If we answered no we didn’t include it. Jet’s fans have waited long enough for something to go right. Let them enjoy their gifts.
