Something different is building here in Utah. If your Hockey fanatic has caught it already then you know there is no halfway with this team. The Utah Hockey Club came into town screaming with an energy that most expansion teams spend 10 years trying to build. These fans aren’t wearing their allegiance because a grandfather did or because of bedroom wall poster. They picked it. They picked it recently and they picked it because they wanted to which if anything makes finding that perfect gift more exciting because nothing here is taken for granted.
Built from hours of scouring the internet for things that felt like they were actually made for a team this new. We got it clear that we didn't want to fill a store with every joke jersey and souvenir that gets churned out by the factories and thrift stores across the country. Nope, we wanted to find Utah Hockey Club fans what they'd actually want to receive as gifts from family and friends who paid attention.
So we asked ourselves one simple question when picking everything. Would we feel comfortable giving this to someone who cares about this team as much as we do? Not a hat with the logo thrown on it, but stuff we would want to use. Gifts that fit in your life rather than your sock drawer.
Utah’s fan base is young. Younger than most. That matters. They are kids who followed the news of the move, watched the re-branding, chose their favourite players before everyone else knew who was even on the team.
