Intro
We don’t need to win anyone over to being a Rockets fan. You know the type. They went through the Hakeem days. They lived through the Harden experience. They have strong opinions about what this team should be able to do and will happily inform you whether you want to know or not. Finding a gift for that listener isn’t the problem. Finding something that stands up to how seriously they take it is the challenge.
We built this collection with them in mind. Not the fickle fan that wears the colours whenever it’s easy, but the diehard that knows the injury report before they’ve had breakfast and have a near emotional connection with the Toyota Center itself. Each and everything we’ve picked had to pass that test. Would this excite someone that cares about this stuff? If we didn’t think it was special. If it felt like it was made for the souvenir shelf or churned out to catch the touristic trade, we didn’t include it.

Everything we selected here is stuff that feels considered. Presents that demonstrate you listened to who you’re buying for and took the time to find something they’d actually love rather than just grabbing the first Rockets tat you see. A great gift for the hardcore fan is a gift that shows you know them and care enough to not half-ass their present.
We considered occasion too. Houston fans populate plenty of events in your life. They’re the ones celebrating halfway through the year with no real reason to give a gift and they’re the ones who’s Christmas list is unfair because they already own everything that springs to mind. We cover all those bases with this collection because we picked stuff for quality and meaning, not because it was themed for a certain month.
The Rockets are one of the NBA’s older teams and we want to do them justice. Red and silver goes deep for natives to Houston and those that maybe weren’t born there but got caught by the Rockets trap. We don’t want the gifts here to feel lazy or like fandom is a trend they’ll inevitably kick. You only get one chance to make a first impression and these gifts are our introduction to the Houston Rockets fan that doesn’t already know who Russell Westbrook is.
