Winnipeg Jets
There are people out there who don’t just watch the Jets. They bleed blue and white. They follow the lines, they debate goaltending decisions and they know Jets history, in Atlanta and in Winnipeg. They care about everything. Buying them anything is tough. Generic NHL gear is available on every website out there and most of it feels like it was made by a committee with no particular fan in mind. We wanted to do better than that.
We built this collection around one simple question. Would we buy this for a Jets fan who actually bleeds blue and white? Not like it makes a good gift, would they want this as a fan? Sure thing ruled out heaps. What we’ve left you with are the items we would grab for the Jets fan we care about most. The person who can recite game scores from memory and would know immediately if we didn’t care about them either.
Winnipeg isn’t a hockey city. It’s a hockey town. Proper fans live and breathe this team. They suffered through the days in Phoenix. They cried when the Jets returned in 2011 and they have created a monster atmosphere inside Canada Life Centre. When you get someone who appreciates that, a gift that acknowledges the passion means more than just throwing something with a logo on it at them. That difference is tangible. You can tell as soon as they unwrap it.
We’ve made sure to cover the obvious occasions too. Birthdays for the season ticket holder who has everything. Christmas stocking fillers for the youngster who just fell in love with the club. Little something’s for the friends or family member who moved away from Winnipeg but still stays up to watch every game from a timezone away.
We kept this list short intentionally. A curated list of items we actually care about is better than a giant selection of stuff we aren’t sure about. If you see it here, we believe it’s something that earns its way into the hands of a real hockey fan.
