Three 1981 DeLorean DMC-12s were purchased for the production of the Back to the Future movie; enjoy our new brick car replica of it. The documentary OUTATIME: Saving the DeLorean Time Machine claims that only the original A-car remains because of its reuse in later films and other circumstances. Despite appearing in all three movies the original C-car was finally disassembled. A replica car that was shown at Universal Studios Japan was built using parts from the C-car.
