Shopping for a Marlins fan isn’t the same as shopping for a Yankees fan or a Red Sox fan. There’s no generations-old legacy of World Series lore to inform your gift search. There’s no ocean of red pinstriped caps to let you know what everyone already has. There is, however, something that far too many unobservant people miss – a fiercely loyal fanbase that knows better than anyone what it means to stand by your team through the lean years. Choosing to follow the Marlins is not convenient. You follow them because you love baseball, you love Miami, and you accept the Marlins as the beautiful intersection of those loves.
So while it definitely requires more thought than “team jersey,” which Marlins fan doesn’t appreciate that? That thoughtfulness is part of what we’ve taken into consideration as we curated this list. You’re not buying into a wardrobe for someone who supports the team as some sort of distraction between games. You’re buying for someone who cares. We care too, which is why we only included things that we felt cared as well. The Marlins color scheme and logo look great on merchandise. It looks absolutely fantastic on some pieces and … not so much on others. We’ve tried our best to include only the former.
